Pink is all around us in February; pink hearts, pink scarves, pink flowers! I love the color pink, it gives us a bit of energy in the dreary Winter months in Michigan. Wintertime is the perfect time for indoor home projects. I painted the kitchen cabinets myself in ‘09. The doors were taken off of the frames, sanded, primed, sanded, painted, sanded and painted again. I used a color from Restoration Hardware – white of some kind. I loved working with the paint and although it took many nights and weekends to complete, I had a blast with the kitchen re-do!
I painted the walls in Latte from Restoration Hardware. I love that store!! Also in the photo is my favorite espresso machine, which grinds the beans, and extracts two perfect shots of espresso!
To add a little pink the my wardrobe…I chose this yarn from Walmart, there I said it! This scarf was made by casting on 25 stitches and knitting until I could not knit any longer. Super bulky yarn and size 11 needles.
